Seattle City Guide

A Seattle city guide will only kick off by mentioning the word ‘Seattle – The Emerald City’. Yes, the greenery spawning all around rightly reflects the title given to this beautiful city. Seattle is also known as a coastal city since it harbors a sea port too. Located in the United States, this is one beautiful city which is often visited by many again and again. The city is located between Lake Washington and Puget Sound.

One of the most remarkable landmarks of this city is the ‘Space Needle’. Some of the other main landmarks in Seattle city are the “Washington Manual Tower’ which is called as the 2nd tallest tower in Seattle. The first is ‘The Columbian Center’ which has 76 floors and is regarded to be one of the main landmarks of this city. Then we have the Seattle Central Library, Fremont Troll, the Pike Place Market and of course ‘Starbucks Centre’ the world’s famous coffee. It is not possible to discuss Seattle city without mentioning some of the above mentioned skyscrapers.

The city is green all around with wet climate during the winter season and dry climate during the summer season. The surprising part is that the city experiences rains for most of the year, a total of 225 days. Because of this beautiful climate, the population has been increasing as many people have begun to migrate and settle either during their youth or during retirement days. There are plenty of job opportunities as many companies have begun investing in this city mainly because of the beautiful climate and the lovely people all around. As such, job opportunities have also driven people to settle in this city. In all ways, the city is only gaining more and more popularity as each day passes by. Do make a visit to Seattle whenever you plan your vacation next time.
